Brene Brown says that one of the necessary ingredients for a good life is a creative practice.
I’m grateful for the moments in my day where I get to be creative. I’m grateful for the people in my community who I get to be creative around.
I was at a church knitting circle today and we were commenting on how nice it is to have the time to spend together creating.
One lady, busy knitting a cap for a homeless man, said that she got 5/100 with a terrible maths teacher in 7th grade. She had a great teacher after that and managed a B for her School Certificate.
I pray that my teaching skills keep improving and my students see the results in their lives. As one client said the other day “It’s been a pleasure spending time with you today, Gill”.
I was so grateful.
